I have always been a big fan of multi-level marketing. I always thought the big picture looked very appealing. I have tried my fair share of them and I will have to say the one's I always seem to like the most was ones that products and recruiting could be done online. Some of these in the past years I have done very well at the beginning but later seen my downline breakaway or of course dwindle away by the ones who join and not getting rich overnight heads for the exit door.
In October of 2008 I joined a web hosting company
Global Domains International that I seen had a fantastic track record and offered a product that I myself could use for my mortgage note business. The best part it was affordable at $10 a month. I knew in a down economy I felt a low cost online business could be attractive to the masses. Much different then trying to market a designer bottle of juice.
On October 12th I signed up my wife to be the first on my front line. At the time I was thinking the best way to market this business online would be with two websites. Within the GDI systems there is a invite system that allows you to send out 100 invites a day. I felt at the time 200 a day was better than 100. I purchased leads basically and would send 200 invites a day out and work each premium lead that came from the system. If I had there phone number we would call them but many times it was by email or online chat to communicate with them.
Did I have success? Yes my team and myself had recruited 72 people by the end of 2008. This was just by working leads within the system every day. This took more effort than I really wanted to put into it and I was helping so many people under stand how to use leads and load them into the system. I kept looking at the GDI Leaderboard and then searching the names that were listed to see if I could find what and how they were building there online business.
